First Annual Acorn Harvest

September 1 @ 8:00 amOctober 30 @ 5:00 pm

Free

Join us for the First Annual Acorn Harvest.  We will be harvesting acorns from local oak trees and processing them into Acorn Flour and Acorn Meal, which will be used for a culinary series, and to offer to local Native American Organizations and Tribes.  This is the first time in over 100 years that acorns have been harvested in Alameda on this scale.

Would you like to join the Acorn Harvest Team?

Do you have an Oak Tree you’d like to share?
