This is a safe space for everyone.

If, for example, you are intolerant of people from different parts of the world, reject non-binary identities, or refuse to believe in science (or a round Earth that orbits the sun), please do not apply.

We expect everyone to treat each other with respect by following these Community Guidelines:

🪶Respect the Indigenous Space You Are Being Invited Into

Remember at all times that you are a guest, and no amount of money or perceived privilege entitles you to center yourself or dictate anything about the platform, content, or presentation of our events.

Disrupting our events by interrupting speakers, centering yourself in events that clearly are not about you, or demanding to be seen or heard in a space where you are neither a speaker, nor an organizer, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

You will be asked to leave, and you will not receive a refund.

We make Safe Places for Indigenous People. This is an Indigenous Space. And this boundary is completely non-negotiable.

🚫No Bullying, Racism, Hate Speech, Discrimination, Segregation, or Put-Downs

Everyone deserves to feel safe, welcome, and respected.

But we also subscribe to the Paradox of Intolerance.

Meaning: we do not tolerate intolerance. And we also won’t engage in a philosophical debate about whether or not it’s fair to ask intolerant people to leave …. because you will already be gone.

We defend this Safe Space.

🤝🏽Look Out for Each Other

If something looks unsafe, let us know.

If someone needs a hand, offer it.

We are building community through care and mutual responsibility.

👶🏽Watch Your Own Children

We love kids, and we know they love to run and explore.

But if you bring a young person with you, you are responsible for them at all times.

No minor will be allowed to participate unless their parent or guardian is present throughout the event.

🚫Zero Tolerance for Drugs and Alcohol

All of our events are clean and sober spaces for many important reasons.

Do not attend under the influence or use drugs or alcohol while you are with us.

Violation of this policy will result in removal from the event. Reentry requires a meeting with an organizer.

🚫Zero Tolerance for Violence

This includes relationship violence, abusive behavior, shoving, hitting, or fighting.

If this occurs, you will be asked to leave immediately. You may not return until a conversation with staff has taken place.

Please show respect to your fellow participants, volunteers, and organizers by abiding by these guidelines. We are here to uplift, not tear down. Let’s build something beautiful together.
