Recognized descendant of the Utu Utu Gwaitu Benton Hot Springs Paiute Tribe. Adopted out of his tribe at birth, and raised in Alameda, California. (Unceded Muwekma Ohlone Territory.) Gabriel is a researcher, poet, artist, cartographer, chef, and more. He is the founder and principal researcher of the Alameda Native History Project.
